Hello 2019: Resolutions,Goals and Ambitions

Updated: Jun 17, 2020

Hey Guys!

Since we not only entered a new month, but a new year as well, a great way to kick off the year is setting goals for yourself to make your life more enjoyable. So I'm gonna share my resolutions along with an action plan for each one. I also want to share my goals because I consider those as more random and I don't have a plan for them but they are just things I want to do. Some of things may be similar or apart of my resolutions . I'm also gonna do my main focus for the first 6 months and break my year into 2 parts because I feel like with the shift of me being a high school student to a college student (which is like the gateway to adulthood), my goals and priorities will change because certain thing will become more important than others.

Focus for the first 6 months of 2019

In order to be successful in achieving resolution, you can't force yourself to take on too much at once. If you pile yourself up with goals and resolutions, it becomes counter productive because you'll end up tiring yourself out. The top Goals I want to focus on for the first 6 months of 2019 is:

Resolution #1: Better Time management

I feel like in order to achieve any of my goals this needs to be the first step because all my actions revolve around how well I do with managing my time.

Resolution #3: Becoming More Optimistic

A positive mindset allows people to keep going even when everything around them is dark and toxic. So if I have a positive mindset, I'm less likely to give up.

Resolution #8:Focus on my physical health and Resolution #5: Take care of my mental health

I combined these because they go hand-in-hand. I want to do this because for so long I hated my body because of the comments people made about me which really affected my mindset. However, the reason I need to do this is because how I felt getting up in the morning was difficult because I didn't have enough energy and just felt weak. So having poor health and depression just made living hard to bare. I don't want to completely get into this deeply yet, but this is really important.

Goals for 2019

  • Read a non required book once a month

  • To draw more

  • Start more creative projects

  • Create a vision board

  • To have an above 90s average

  • To graduate

  • To develop a new skill

  • To get a job

  • To go to sleep by 11pm

  • To become more of a morning person

  • To increase my flexibility

  • Work more efficiently

  • Have a healthier lifestyle

  • surround myself with positive people

  • Not to be taken advantage of

  • Learn my value

  • Fall in love with life

  • Take more pictures

  • Explore the City

Bucket list for winter months (December 2018- February 2019)

My bucket list is a bit short because I don't have much since we are half way through winter months. Also I'm really sorry for this delay. I've been making up school work and preparing for midterms but I promise I'll get better at posting. Also don't forget to share this site with your friends and family.
